'Kenya' 2024 mixed media on canvas

Memories of Africa in the 90's. Myself and a friend travelled through Africa for 3months in the 90's. What an incredible experience we had journeying from Kenya to Uganda down to Tanzania, Zanzibar Malawi and Zimbabwe. We never did any tours, our journey was rough and raw, we took local buses, hitchhiked and trekked over land.
What a magical place, and the people we encountered were delightful, we were in awe, and very grateful.
This beautifully rough and raw experience is hopefully reflected a little in the work I'm currently creating.
